The Lord will provide. Oh, blessed consolation, precious thought for contemplation. The Lord will provide that which is necessary for my well-fare – and not only this. He will do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think. He will fill my every need beyond my wildest dreams, imaginations, hopes, desires. And it is a part of His character to do so. To give to His children good and perfect gifts from above. Gifts that are given by the Father of Lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. This same Father, the God of heaven and earth, is Jehovah Jireh: Provider of everything I could ever need.
To be sure, He does not always see fit to meet the need as soon as it arises. Nor does He always choose to use the means we may have in mind. His thoughts are not our thoughts, neither are His ways our ways. He is far higher than we. He is our God. My God. Jehovah Jireh.
“The Lord will provide.” And that, dear reader, is enough.
Amen, dear sister! What beautiful words and what precious promises we have through Christ!
Keep letting Christ do His masterful work in you. He is building a beautiful life testimony in and through you. I just love watching it unfold! I love and miss you dear one!
What encouragement for today! Thank you for sharing that.
I am having a kind of hard time right now trusting God with something that is so small but is important to me. I don’t usually have trouble trusting God, but this time is a bit of a struggle. After praying and telling God my problem, what I was worried about and fretting over I was able to have peace.
Taking the promise from God’s Word, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” I can rest and have peace after leaving my worry and fret with God.
God knows what is best for this situation and I want His best. Even if He is four days late, He is still on time.
Again, Thank you for sharing.
This was just the reminder I needed today! Thank you Victoria!
