For as many years as we have lived in here in the mountains, I don’t think I have ever seen our blooming cherry trees break forth with such loveliness as they have this year! To see the fluffy pink blossoms decked appropriately with hints of green as they bend and sway with the spring breeze… it gives such joy to know that the same One Who formed such beauty is the One Who holds my future, Who hears my call, Whose mercies surround each new day. Can I not take Him at His Word and depend upon Him to cause my life and testimony to radiate such beauty?

“O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days… Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children. And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us; and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.” Psalm 90:14, 16-17

“Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.” Psalm 72:18

“Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.” Psalm 33:18-22
