Talking….this is something we like to do as a family. It is profitable and fun to throw out ideas, sort through ideas, and come to conclusions about those ideas. Such was the case not too long ago, and the result of this particular talk time was the decision to try being a vendor at our local farmer’s market. We had a wonderful day, and really enjoyed getting to know our community a little better. Interacting with customers and other vendors alike was encouraging to us, reminding us of our opportunity and responsibility we have to be a light in the place God has planted us.
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” –Matthew 5:16
How exciting! I had heard that you all did your first market :-). We are hoping to become a vendor at one of our local markets next year, Lord willing!
Looks like fun! I am glad you got to have the wonderful opportunity! Keep pressing on together!!
Blessings,
Olivia
I know that is so much fun for I have done it once myself! We were able to help a neighbor out and do it for them when they were out of town. It is fun to get to know people from your community. I was able to meet a lady who was selling crocheted blankets. When she found out that I liked to crochet, she gave me tips that have helped her over the years. You never know what will happen.
God bless you all.
Elise
Looks like you all had a great time! What a wonderful opportunity to do something as a family.
Love all the pretty colors of the candles!
Blessings,
Janet
Hi! I heard that you all started being vendors–how exciting to be doing that as a family. I like the variety of products and the fact that there was live music at your booth! I’m sure that drew some curious people. We, too, have enjoyed interacting with folks that stop by at our market and have had some interesting encounters, too. 😉 The verse you quoted is so appropriate…many times our light shining is noticed without us having to say a word and causes people ask “what” we are. The friendly atmosphere tends to make for conversation starting easily.
Hope the new family venture continues to go well.
