Apple season is here again --

“Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

The Lord blessed us with several bushels of free, organic apples -- and what fun it was to preserve them together! Every member of the Team had a job.Quartering the apples to prepare them for cooking

Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders. He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground; A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein. Apple Pie Filling!

While the rest of us managed the apple process, two special Team members bleached the porch. After a particularly wet season, the mold and grime had flourished -- not a very pleasant addition to our family relax center. :)Scrub, scrub! It's looking great!

He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease… he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock. The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.

Then, they painted the porch! Way to go!Another seasonal project -- harvesting the remainder of the pumpkin squash, pumpkins, and green onions from the garden.

The Lord also blessed us with a quantity of free, organic Concord grapes. Such a blessing! Now, the shelves are lines with quarts and quarts of delicious juice.

Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.”
