…are those who TRUST.
Blessed are those who WAIT.
Blessed are those who SEEK.
O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. O fear the LORD ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. The young lions do lack and suffer hunger, but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. Psalm 34:8-10
For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee. Psalm 84:11-12
The LORD is my portion, saith my soul: therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. Lamentations 3:24-26
Trust in the LORD and do good: so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him… Psalm 37:3-7
Their strength is to sit still… In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and confidence shall be your strength… And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him… He will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry ; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee. Isaiah 30

Amen! What truth, this is something I have been pondering recently also. “What does resting and waiting on the LORD look like?” “Surely I have composed and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child rests against his mother, My soul is like a weaned child within me” ~ Psalm 131 It is like the new born babe that is weaned of his mother and is resting without any worry or concern on her. May we be as that new born child resting on our Lord.
“Restlessness and impatience change nothing except our peace and joy. Peace does not dwell in outward things, but in the heart prepared to wait trustfully and quietly on Him who has all things safely in His hands.” -Elisabeth Elliot
